Comments: Awesome value for money rifles. Mine is still far more accurate than what I am at present. Current setup not the lightest to carry around in the bush all day, but still doable. Patiently waiting for the arrival of the Howa 6mm Creedmoor rifles.

Re: Howa Owners
Hi Francois
Thanks for the link
I have downloaded the catalogue previously
I must have "vintage" eyes as I cannot find a section for ONLY barrelled actions ( receivers )
There are entries for all the "RIFLES"
The older catalogues did have a separate entry for only barrelled actions
Barrelled actions were farmed off to Brownells -- that company seems to have a very poor listing / description of what is available ?
Maybe I am not looking in the correct places ?

Re: Howa Owners
I just double checked, and Lo! and behold! You are 100% correct!!! I read, and saw, as you stated... no barrelled actions listed...
Perhaps it is worth it to contact Humansdorp Co-op... this is what they list...

Re: Howa Owners
Slightly off topic, but did not want to start a new thread.
What scopes base and scope rings have you fitted to your Howa Short Action? There's so many available that its becoming confusing.
I also read mixed opinions about Rem700 bases working on Howa short action rifles, any clarification on this?

Re: Howa Owners
I added a steel Warne 20Moa One piece picatinny rail and the Warne Vertical 30mm rings.

Re: Howa Owners
For my 6.5 CM, I use ARMS 20 MOA base, and ARMS Competition 30mm rings.
