Recently married, new surname and wife wants to license fa competency in maiden name
My wife and I got married a little over a year ago, she has had a 9mm with neccessary license etc for a couple of years, she is wanting to license a over under shotgun but her competency and training certificates are in her maiden name, what do we do? Thanks in advance for the help.

Include a copy of marriage cert?

We went through the same process but that was before the last legal hiccups. Just included a marriage certificate along with a proof of address / proof of employment and all was good to go.

Have a chat with your friendly DFO. He/she is the first "hurdle" because they have to accept the paper work. The DFO cannot flaw you for acting on his/her instructions.
