Importing a chronograph (received as a gift)
My lucky day......
A good mate in the US has upgraded his chronograph and says I can have the old one if I can get it back to SA. Hoping to be able to ship it to another friend who travels regularly to the US.
Is there any issues with ITAR on it? From what I understand no, however the last thing I would want is a friend to get up sh1t creek. I also don't want to pass up a free chrony......

Re: Importing a chronograph (received as a gift)
Only thing I can mention is. That Ive heard from some dealers they have issues bringing in some electrical stuff. Even Tumblers and case feeders.
But honestly I dont know why they would have an issue with a chroni. It can be uesed for paintball, airsoft and archery as well, heck even to shoot a kettie over. So not a firearm only item.
