police view points on worning shots
hi guys, I was wondering how the SAPS treat people that fire warning shots, I know in America this is a criminal act and can get you arrested for unlawful discharge of a firearm or even attempted murder.
my question is if one day I was to come home and be greeted by the site of criminal kicking my dog, or burglar trying his hardest to get my TV out of the window, should I fire a warning shot to get him to stop or at least flee. when the police arrived would I be arrested? or perhaps a unarmed criminal attempts to mug me or someone I love I cant shoot him because he is clearly unarmed, so I fire a warning shot, what would happen when the police arrived.
heres an example of how the law treats people who fire warning shots in America.

thank you

Not unless you have a Taurus Millennium. There is one going for a steal in the for sale section.
