Rubbish. "All women police station"!! What a load.
The only female specific provisions are that the arrestee must be searched by a female officer and kept in a cell seperate from male prisoners.Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:

the glory of the great dead.

Load of BS
With that said , Dont know if you guys have had any dealing with metro lately ?
They wanted to arrest me yesterday in a RD Block because I did not have a number plate on my scooter (which Is brand new and I am waiting for the papers from the dealer)
I understand I broke the LAW , But surely that is not ground for arrest ? I was happy to take my fine and pay that , BUT I was told no fine unless I have 1500 Cash on me.
I told them to go to hell and that I was going to phone my lawyer , They told me to leave before they take me down to the cop station toe teach me some manners.
A friend of mine left a resturant on friday eve in 4 ways and was pulled over by 4 metro cops. They shoved him in the back of the van and searched he's car , they took 1000 rand cash in he's wallet and he's 5 grand watch. He was then also told to leave before he gets locked up for the weekend. They did not tell him what he's offence was
WTF is happening with these guys ? Is traffic offences in SA now Schedule one offences or what
I registered with Eblock watcg Police the Police service

There was also a story going around that women driving alone at night should only slow down at an intersection and pass through it if safe, to minimise the possibility of carjackings. Sounds logical.
Any comments?

Anyone going through a Red Traffic light may be prosecuted, irrespective of the time.
It depends on the Officer who saw the infringment.
He may overlook it, or pull her over and give her the R1000 fine depending on his mood.A roaring Lion kills no game

Rather be judged by 12 than carried by six.
If I drive in a dodgy area, I don’t obey the traffic rules. I let common sense dictate my actions. Should they decide to charge me, I’ll state my case in court. Should I cause an accident, I’ll have to face the music and take responsibility for my decisions.
