The web seems to call it a pistol, I guess it would depend what it is loaded on the system as.

@Gazzamck, 7.65/32ACP is every where, more expensive than 9mmp, but then again everything else is.
Reloading 7,65 has an interesting learning curve, but worth it, bullets are 70gn and you use very little powder, which is part of the learning curve.
