Going on for a long time. However, up until recently you were OK to submit copies of 350s with apps, and someone "hopefully" processed the paper trail and could then work on the licence.

About 6 weeks ago? they stopped accepting the 350's. There was a thread on here about it, something like New Rule/Law

If you buy a Shadow 2 now. First ask for the Serial BEFORE you pay and check with your DFO if they will accept an application for the firearm with that serial.
There are some issue with the import and transfer docs to dealers from Formalito.
You are warned.

Firstly, very few dealers will give you a seriel number for a firearm until you have paid for it. It would then be possibe for you to apply for a license for a gun that is not yours.

Secondly, this is a problem that affects every single firearm importer. The CFR has no favourites, they hate us all equally.

I would think you would need the 270 completed by the dealer and the the 350 from the dealer before you will get into the door at the DFO?
