Good looking gun Bonedoc! Have you shot the 87 gr V-Max's out of it? or do you just prefer the 95 BT's?

Within the first session with my .243AI(Howa varminter)I had a sub moa load, using it now with my new brass. Once all formed will see if different neck tension from bushing die will influence load at all.

I had a few bt, once they are finished I'll probably move to 87gr vmax.

Know two other chaps who shoot 87 vmax successfully from their ackleys

hmm.... why not keep it as is, and get a new barrel chambered in 243 AI WITH a 1:7 twist.
That way you'll get the most out of that rifle.

Default .243 AI - Recommended Gunsmith

Most Famous Gunsmith for the Ackley job I know of must be Izak Hatting (Trueworx) from Bloemfontein. I see you are in Gauteng but trust me you will not make a mistake by going through the trouble to get it to him. He did my Savage LRP a couple of months ago and I am more than satisfied!

    Thanks Sako!

Already arranged with Eugene to send the gun to them (Trueworx). As soon as I am back from Honeymoon mid Nov I am on it.

Will be shooting it AI from day 1! Very excited!
