    Both my items that came with USPS was like this. The one I actually phoned the morning.
    And afternoon it was at home. The slip.

    On the Accu Shot monopod I even applied for an ITAC permit. As I was not sure if it will be seen as firearm related. And it was at +-$95. Yet it went straight to post office. Without getting local tracking nr at all.

    Pretty sure if I phone today and someone tracks that package. Which I got 2-3 months back. They will still say no local track nr yet.

    I would gladly pay more for shipping and get it faster. But some guys only ship USPS.

    Sorry Trundle but I will have to disagree with you on this one.
    This is the whole point of PayPal and is something which the supplier signs up to when they join.
    I did use the 'more expensive option'...as have others...but it still does not guarantee that SAPO will 'deliver what ever it takes'
    I do agree that 'things are not fair' and like you I do not blame the supplier for non delivery...I blame SAPO.
    Are you saying however that I should not order items from overseas if I am not prepared to accept the 'costs/losses' of non delivery ?
    There are many suppliers that already will not deliver to SA...that is their choice...and whilst it grieves me that that is the case, I can quite understand their position.
    Paypal ('a proudly South African invention') does give 'peace of mind' to both supplier and customer and is now an accepted form of payment around the world.
    I shall continue to use it (as I certain will others) as long as suppliers are prepared to offer it to me.
    Yes 'blame the SAPO' as it is ultimately their failure 'to deliver'...or perhaps better still, let's find 'somebody' (anybody ?) who actually does 'have control' and wants to fix the mess !

    I was told by one of the guys at Cape Mail when collecting a package last week that they have had a major influx of mail coming from the east due to the recent popularity of WISH.

    Sorting of mail is running weeks behind apparently.

    31 days from arrival to customs.
    International tracking showed that it was handed to the SAPO ON 26/7/2017
    It only appeared on their system on 8/8/2017.

    Hi gary-t.
    So; it took SAPO a full month to get your parcel into Customs ?
    Perhaps there is yet hope for my parcel...arrived 08-09-2017...so it won't even have reached Customs yet !
