Re: Cz Shadow 2 Production legal mods
You'll note I said excessive.
In that thread Vince said a lot about not having an ability to measure and accurately compare them or something but he did not give them all the go ahead. So in my head if the difference is clear and obvious that may lead to issues.
I guess if in doubt the question may be asked again.

Re: Cz Shadow 2 Production legal mods
Unfortunately as long as there have been competitive sports, peole have been trying to bend the rules to win.
F1 cars making modifications that are not allowed, athletes and cyclists taking illegal substances to get ahead, shooters using after market parts to try and be more competitive... it's all the same.. it is cheating and not allowed!
If you need to cheat to win, find another hobby or sport!

Re: Cz Shadow 2 Production legal mods
Not competitive sports. Any competition - for food, money, whatever.
During Lockdown, we were allowed to ship certain items to certain clients only, while receiving dozens of questions from other customers about when we will be able to ship to them. While I could not fix a date, it was clear at the time that the Government's chosen path of trying to specify 'essential goods' were failing as people everywhere were pushing the rules to the max. I even wrote a blog post about it. I called it "The Evolution of IPSC Production Division Pistols", but as the conclusion shows, it was really about life in general:
"After watching this for a couple of years, I came to the conclusion that detail rules in a complex system have a limited shelf life. This is best described by Peter Senge’s third rule of Systems Thinking: “Behaviour grows better before it grows worse.” The golden rule of maintaining control seems to be changing the rules when you are about to lose control, then being deliberately vague to slow the reaction down.
As I’m sitting here, trying to make sense of Covid-19 Level 4 rules, I can’t see it standing the test of time. It is already difficult to determine which parts are essential for which industries, and I see this rapidly becoming more difficult as we’re moving forward. Hopefully we’ll move away from the current “product-based” plan to a more broadly defined system."
