Receipt on Application?

Hi Guys,

Submitted an app this morning, the last time I submitted an app was about two years ago..

Anyway, when I got back to my office and was looking through documentation I previously received I found an "Acknowledgement of Receipt of firearm documentation", which I did not get this time. Has the processed changed?

The only "proof" of my application was the R140 receipt for application, else I have nothing.

Can't get hold of the DFO, is this something I should be concerned about?

I have only had those receipts, never an "Acknowledgement of Receipt of firearm documentation".
First application was just over two years back.

Have also never received an acknowledgement letter/receipt either. Only the receipt for payment and have never had any issues.

Applied about 2 weeks back. And previous times as well only received a receipt for the R140 paid. Nothing else.

I applied last month and got the SAPS 523 - Acknowledgment of receipt of firearm documentation as well as the R140 proof of payment receipt.
