    Default Diplopoint Ammo Cracked frame

    Morning Guys,

i saw cracked cz p07 frame from my local dealer yesterday, They were using Diplopoint ammo and seemed to be a very hot load, I have also used Diplopoint before and noticed a couple of things like light strikes and hot loads.

This was when i was using czp09 s&w 40 which was my friends gun. Now that i have my own firearm I have stayed away from Diplopoint, I have tried Maxtech ammo and was not impressed, So i am now using S&B.

In all of the 500 rounds we used only a few cartridges had these issues but that is enough to make me stay away from this ammo.

What are your thoughts guys ?
    Regards

    Tony G

Remanufactured ammo has it's risks. You need to decide if you're R10000 is worth risking on cheap ammo.

Best option is reloading if you're on a budget

Reloading is definitely the way to go if you want to shoot more and a steady diet of factory ammo is a bit rough for your pocket.

It won't save you money but it will let you shoot a lot more for the same money.

Cheap ammunition is cheap. Until it isn't.

The price difference between re manufactured ammo and S&B really is not that big.

I have to agree Davidc the diplopoint is R100 for 25 and the S&B is 225 for 50 so there is very little between them considering you take 50, I also don't shoot more then once a month.
When i do start sport shooting reloading is a must but till then will stick with the S&B.

Until you start reloading, keep your cases. You will have a good stash of once fired cases, always a good thing.
