Kitchen knives and Tormek goes together like primers and powder. Expensive, but its awesome.

Lansky for small knives, if the blades becomes to long, its a schlepp, then it goes to the tormek

I have absolutely no coordination and have tried a number of sharpening systems over the years from the Lansky to the warthog. I am now using the Vulkanus Knife Sharpener Classic and i am very happy with the results. The added bonus is it can be used on serrated knives as well
