Estate Firearms
Please Help.
What do i do i bought some firearms from a friend of mine but before i could hand in the licence applications he passed away now the police wants death certificate and all sorts of paper work witch the family refuses to give to me.
What do i do?

You would need to speak to the executor of the estate. They now have the permission to sign the 271, provide the relevant copies of ID and death certificate.

If you have any correspondence between you and the deceased discussing the sale, those and the proof of payment will go a long way to proving your story to the executor
