    Default Info on paramount arms 308

    Hi guys need some help here i have a friend going overseas next week he owns 2 paramount arms 308 target rifles i know nothing about them can anyone give me info on them and maybe a average pricing he says they almost brand new and have peep sights fitted.

    I doubt these have anything to do with Paramount Group.
    Maybe I'm wrong. But these probably come from the old Jhb Station Concourse gunshop Paramount Arms way back in the 80's.
    Maybe they had Musgraves or something made for them with their name on them. Sounds more logical. Paramount Group wants nothing to do with smallarms.

    I followed up on these seem to be used for bisley shooting they are single shot long barreled rifles made to shoot longer distances

    Ahmedoo, can you get us some photos of the engraving or stamps on the rifles?

    In the search I found the term "Swing rifle". It was as Ahmedoo said a long range Bisley rifle made to certain specs on a new design. Somewhere I read that they were known as "paramount rifles".

    It can be that some of these rifles were imported as paramount rifles.

    In the search I saw a NZ website selling paramount rifles.

    My guess is that it is a technical term.

    Maybe its two rifle props. LOL
