Camo, if you can do it for after the world cup, then I will be happy to assist in any way possible, will also give them a bit of an intro into the active shooters program!

I thought Id post this here as its relevant to the OP. About 6 months ago at my daughters school (all girls school) there was an incident which i thought was well handled, but illustrates the need for all schools to have a plan for this eventuality as it is probably more likely than any other. (except perhaps a fire in the chem lab at a boys school). There had been an attempted robbery nearby the school and 2 armed robbers fled the scene and jumped the walls (topped with electric fence) and hid in the school grounds. This occurred at about 6 am in the morning so there were very few people at the school apart from some girls attending an early morning swimming team training session along with coaches etc. The alarm was raised quickly, the school went into lock down, the armed response arrived and did a comprehensive sweep, eventually flushing them out. Im not 100 % sure what happened next , whether they escaped or were captured, but the school was declared safe again and the gates were opened for arriving parents/kids etc. The school has permanent on-site security with armed response. I believe what made the search easier was that all doors were locked, leaving few places to hide even in a large multi building campus.

Excellent interview Cammo.
I'm a police officer here in the US. I have just finished my second active shooter as a student; not as an instructor. The first I paid out of my pocket for. And the second my agency sent me.
