Default Sig Sauer 516 G2 Patrol

Hi guys, just purchased a Sig 516 (from me to me present)

This is my first AR.... I have a M&P 15-22 (baby AR)

Was thinking of getting extra mags right from the start. Any other suggestions?

    Cheers

Spare bolt, cam pin, gas rings , unless this is a piston setup, then just the bolt and pin. Down the road, you might want to look at triggers, grips and optics. The Sig is a nice gun, it don’t need much pimping to get something useful.

By all means buy Magpul 40’s and 30’s. A 10 round is useful for bench work.

Fark! I wouldn't mind being you right now.

Lovely gun. You will love it. If you don't, then let's talk about how I can rid you of your misery.

As you know it is a piston driven system and therefore components are proprietary Sig. Make a plan to get yourself spares of all the main parts asap.

ETA: always good to have extra mags.

Roger that PeaceOfficer, I don't think I've ever been this excited about a new firearm!

Yeah, I'll give you a shout if the rifle isn't for me.... ;-)

    Thanks for the advice.

No worries. Have fun with that bad boy when you eventually get around to playing with it.
