    Why? They suck IMHO. You'll be much better served with a MI, BCM.

    I like mine, nice solid rail. I unfortunately cut mine shorter to accommodate an adjustable gas block, now I want it back to original form

    Too heavy and prone to issues with the gen 1's. IMHO I would skip it and get something better as I mentioned earlier.

    Would that not be a bit shorter than the standard length on the 18" DMR? I think the rail must be 12.3 or something like that.
