Try Cloud 9.

Cloud9 is love. Cloud9 is life.
Josephine check out Black Friday deals tomorrow. Can save you a bit of cash. Several places are jumping in, like House and Home, Mattress Factory and Dial-a-Bed.

Re: Buying a Mattress.
We are firm believers in Serta. Have a king size extra length (cost 14k)

Re: Buying a Mattress.
Simmons mattresses are like the 1911 that never malfunctions.
If you find them too expensive look at any and all the other options available, but they are not Simmons. I have a King Koil mattress as well which is now 15 years old and still as comfortable as when bought.

Re: Buying a Mattress.
Slight hajack, but how does one choose a mattress? Hard/soft etc?
I have a lower back issue, and have been meaning to get a decent bed/mattress, but don't have the foggiest on how to ensure one gets the right one.

Re: Buying a Mattress.
They all have pro's and cons, springs vs foam, etc. The salesperson should be able to explain these.
The most important question a salesperson should ask you,is how much you weigh vs how much do you want to spend.
After sales warrantees, etc are important over the life span off the base set,ask about the fine print in those as you are liable for transport costs, etc even though you may be covered for latent defects.Eg, Cloud9/Rest Assured used to be Cpt based,Simmons in Stanger Kzn, not sure about Serta though.
Remember the "feel" of the bed changes over time,eg if if "feels" too soft now,it will only get worse.Rule of thumb, back issues,go with firmer vs softer, normally foam better option.
Salesperson normally incentivised and get additional "spiffs" on some brands, buyer beware.

Re: Buying a Mattress.
Oh no...
This is the worst item to shop for!!
So many & majority feels so great..
All that I've been told is " it shouldnt be too firm as if you are laying ontop the mattress instead of it conforming to your body & also it should not be too soft as it might sink"
