    Default Winchester mod 1300 shotgun

    Hi

A friend of mine has a Winchester mod 1300 pump action shotgun
there is something wrong with the feeding mechanism and it jams
continuously. He has done everything that he is capable of and is
looking for a gunsmith to check it out and service it.

Does anyone know of a competent gunsmith in Gauting that can do this.

    Regards
    Gary

Try Andrew Kallman in the South 0837543403

He is more than competent and often fabricates impossible to source parts.

Hmm, following this with interest. Sometimes mine will jam up, but it'll seize with the shell in the tube after being fired. It'll take A LOT of force to get it out and cycle a new one. Doesn't happen a lot at all, but it is a very annoying issue to have.

My 1200 does this and I have narrowed it down to certain ammo. GB 3x3 it happens a lot while S & B buck it doesn't. All bird shot I have tried seems fine. I think its to do with the size of the brass on the shell, GB has a very large amount of brass.

I had this problem too. I took my 1300 to Valley Trading and they polished the chamber and the problem was solved. Cost very little
