    Default Judicial Review

Long story short, I had a Sec16 license (semi auto) refused in August - didn’t show enough reason why existing firearms will not suffice or something to that effect.

I immediately appealed and the appeal was refused mid November - do not have manual competency.

Needless to SA I have competency and according to NHSA, GOSA and Martin Hood my motivation was sound. So I though the end of the line had come and was about to reapply when GOSA’s Legal Team messaged me today. Although the application and appeal was done by myself, they want to take the case under Judicial Review.

If you haven’t already join GOSA. They rock!!!

Lets hope that you get it this time round Cordite.

    Well done GOSA.

Paul, is there any chance that the court may order Brig. Bopape to be personaly liability towards the costs?

I reckon that may stop the needless refusals pretty quick...

The judges are incredibly reluctant to find for damages directly against a state employee... but maybe that day is approaching...

I hope so... I have 2 pistol apps in that CFR refuse to process because my 'competency has expired', nevermind the fact I've had 2 licenses issued under it (while expired, this year). GOSA has been involved, but as of yet; nothing.

    How did your competency expire?
Do you mean your old competency cards.
Because the new A4 printed one expires only with your last license date.
