    I find that traveling to matches and extra gear cost way more than entry fees and yearly affiliation fees.
    Ammo cost I do not count as shooting is the purpose.

    Witbank asked R150 for our league had 65 shooters we made R8700 profit after costs our club shoots are R20 for wdpc members and we have a healthy bank balance.

    The mind boggles why this has been derailed to a sadpa discussion!

    In the attempt to get this back on track...

    I personally pay membership to sadpa. I SO a bit more than half the time meaning no shoot fee. I still shoot ipsc club matches. They cost R50 per match.

    Round count is generally lower for idpa.

    They are both good for building different fundamentals.
