neoprene should be reserved for wet suits in my opinion

leather backing is a winner cow or horse hide

i do use the quantum carry kydex AIWB though, which has, well, a kydex/no backing

I got one of these kits. The AIWB is quite a bulky setup and even though the retention is adjustable when you tighten your belt up it definitely increases the retention when drawing your FA. I've struggled to get the setting right, even on the minimum setting the FA has struggled to come out - I don't like the inconsistency with that.

The OWB is quite a nice set up with the thumb release and that works well.

The IWB is also quite bulky, a lot more bulkier than the Tuck 3.0.

There are way to many parts in that kit IMHO, and although it all looks pretty fancy I don't find it very practical, so pretty much echo what everyone else here says. My holster of choice is an INCOG Eclipse, beats everything else I've tried hands down for AIWB.

I was an Alien Gear early adopter.

The neoprene is kak. It's not strong enough to hold the assembly hardware.

That said, they had a 100% money back guarantee and I used it.

Rather spend the money on 2 or 3 good local holsters.
I find that I generally use two holsters now a hybrid Carter Kustom from Geoff Carter, and a Quantum carry AIWB from Matthew Wright.
Israeli Carry is for dead people
