    Default Tritium vs trijicon sights.

Hi guys, I am struggling to find what I'm looking for.
i want to upgrade the standard sights on my P07 gen 2 to night sights (as my light activated glow in the dark lasting for 20min is not working for me), now what's the difference between trijicon Hd and tritium sights?

    Thanx in advance

Try jizini.co.za, should have a selection. Best place for CZ accessories.

Tritium is what makes night sights glow in the dark.
Trijicon is a manufacturer and HD is the model. It is a tritium sight with florescent paint? around the tritium vial on the front sight.

I have Trijicon HD's on my Tupperware. Just as a heads up: At night or low-light they really are awesome. In the day however I find the front sight dot a tad big, especially for distance accuracy. This might not be a problem with a home defense handgun, but as I use mine for sport as well it does bother a bit. But back to your original question, the HD's do have tritium and no activation is required. They are nice and small and very visible in low light. The day-glow dot surrounding the sight for use in the day is also very visible and sight acquisition is fast, but as I mentioned the front sight blade is a bit big.

It’s not so much accuracy that suffers at distance than accuracy (or rather precision) at speed. The fat sight can be shot with a high degree of accuracy, but it’s really slow.
