Re: 3d printed gun stuff
I believe that you are talking about the DEFCAD files, even though those files are on a public domain I personally don't think all of it should be hosted here. Some of designs IE the liberator pistol are questionable.
It will be bad if someone decides that to make one and the next thing someone from GS downloaded a gun and it blew up in his face.

Re: 3d printed gun stuff
Yup. Too right.
So rather ask me for the files, I can then check my drives, and email or Dropbox the files.
But definitely no homemade gun files etc etc.

Re: 3d printed gun stuff
I definitely would not trust a 3d printed gun! but, stuff for around the reloading room, for example, might be nice. Also thinking a little chamber flag to indicate empty chamber would be a nice idea. obviosly, any other items and ideas would also be nice.
I have printed a primer tray for my RCBS press, with a funnel bottom, and a mounting for a length of pipe. Added to this, I printed a bottle mounting bracket to hold an empty somchem powder tin under the press to catch the used primers that come down the pipe.
I have also drafted and printed some Magazines for the Howa ATI magazine conversion, for use on the 338MW Howa....

Re: 3d printed gun stuff
Just something interesting for anyone who has access to a 3D printer and is lucky to own a Hornady Lock N Load AP press.
A casefeeder was designed by some dude which seems to work rather well based on the reviews of those who printed and used it.
I myself own a Hornady LnL AP together with a Formlabs 3D printer and im curious to have it printed and tested to know if its just a gimmick or actually works and improves my reloading experience.
Also would like to see how many guys on this forum have LnL AP's and would be interested in the casefeeder
The files can be downloaded for free and printed:

Re: 3d printed gun stuff
I'm currently making this one. Modified the design a bit for my press, needs. Will also make a bullet feeder based on this solution.

Re: 3d printed gun stuff
Will this be for a Hornady press only or can it work for a Lee progessive?
