Anyone imported knives from places like Knifecenter? Worth it in terms of shipping etc? Tips, tricks?

Re: Who has imported their own knives?
I have brought in quite a few. My best experience has been with White Mountain Knives. They have a ebay store which I've used a lot. Easy and painless, shipping reasonably priced.

Re: Who has imported their own knives?
Generally $10 shipping for one knife and just the usual post office handling fee. Once or twice VAT was charged.

Knifecenter.com is fantastic and the web site is really easy to navigate. I have used them several times with no issues. Just make sure you use FedEx shipping.

Re: Who has imported their own knives?
I have bought from knife center, knife works and cutlery shoppe. Tax and vat is always a hit and miss. Sometimes I get over charged and other times I don't.
Haven't imported anything in over 2 years, but usually it ends up being cheaper.
Gooduck!
