Default Mags back from the USA

I’m confused and need some guidance. I’m off to the US at the end of the month and want bring back some mags in my check in. Now these will be under the ITAR $100 limit. Would this be allowed?

Mags I’m looking at are 41round AUG mags.

Can you not post them to yourself from USA to local address?

The price of posting puts that out the question.

Ya, it was a silly question I think I’ll save a bit more and get them here.

    Hi CorditeCrazy.
I'm pretty certain that Mags are subject to export/import (ITAR and ITAC) restrictions in both USA and SA.
    Regards.
    Keith.
