The better "Lets try" AIWB Holster
So i would like to give AIWB a try. Now already experimented with one of those leather gun socks marketed as a holster and it seemed comfortable.
Mut for the life of me could not draw well as the gun was very deep down in my waistline. (How the F do people carry guns in those things...)
My question is if i can get away with a cheaper rig to see if i like it, and if it will work for me, and if i dont i wont loose too much money selling it,
Thoughts, Suggestions?

Check the For Sale threads for used holsters. You should be able to get a used holster for R350-R600, depending on type, brand and your pistol.

The cheaper the holster, the more you won't be comfortable.
Of course this is not always true but trying a quality Aiwb is going to feel better than a straight drop that can be worn Aiwb.
What gun do you carry?

I have been using a Remora for AIWB for the last 2.5 years, also a Glock 19. Works for me.

"Works for me" is the enemy of objectively good gear.
Unfortunately the more expensive ones are better. Where are you based? It may be easier to try out someone else's quality holster, do some dryfire work from it etc

Re: The better "Lets try" AIWB Holster
I’ve got a different suggestion:
Consider getting a Daniels holster IWB or a Quantum Carry chameleon. This platform will give you a great kydex holster to carry at any position.
Then buy a AIWB claw. It is about 100 rand, and I know for sure they add onto those holsters previously mentioned. You can buy them at Quantum Carry.
Having a claw makes a huge difference when carrying AIWB and if you don’t like that position, take the claw off and you have a solid kydex holster for another position.
Buy once, cry once. Kydex is the best for holsters and having a G19 will make finding one that much easier.

I'm based in Honeydew. What I am considering is just getting a Raven eidilon then at least it's got resale value but dam that will be an expensive try. I've carried in my comptac Mtac for the last 5ish years and its at the end of its life and really needing a replacement. So considering the appendix route.
