I have the Gen 4. Will definately not upgrade. The changes made are not so significant. Have never had extraction issues. Not interested in "barrel" attachments. That cut out for the slide release? Mmm, not sure it is an improvement. Might struggle to find it there somewhere inside. The slide adapter being inside and not loose? The Gen 4 can also be used as such. No need to take it out to attach it.
All being said, new is nice, but I don't feel "under Roni ied" with the Gen 4
