1883 Black Powder Hunt at Weltevreden Farm (2018)
Members I am commencing with the organising of the next 1883 Era Black Powder hunt at Weltevreden farm under the guidance of owner Willie Barnard Here is a compilation on a video about our last hunt in 2017.
Part of this preparation is the build of a anvil/vice forge I am building for Wallace Vosloo.
I already forged kitchen knives for the camp kitchen.
We are forging like the old Trekkers and hunting parties of yesteryear.

Gert, I’ve been following these hunts for the last few years. I enjoy watching what you guys do and put together. This has sparked something and now I have let it take flame.
I own a 2 Band Enfield and have decided to get it hunt ready. I need to renew my BP permit and get going with this. I have decided I will kit myself out as an wandering East Cape frontiers man (my wife is already rolling her eyes)
Oh the joys of hobbies. They make you feel like a kid climbing a tree again!Last edited by CorditeCrazy; 17-02-2018 at 09:54.

@ Gert
I have to warn you, CC grew up on bangers, mash and mooshie peas - dont expect too much of his cooking abilities.
@CC
