My recommendation to novices is to be safe and enjoy the shoot. Watch the experienced shooters and learn.

Just makes you want to rub it into the Capetonians faces, doesn’t it?

Thanks for the heads up on the weather. Ja, just need to get the butterflies flying in formation. Have a few Experts & experienced chaps in our squad, will definitely watch & learn.

In my first Africa Champs I squadded with the Super Squad full of Masters. I think it made me more nervous than I already was. I was DQ twice. Yes twice. Got DQed, appealed successfully, got DQ again when redoing the stage. I think it was all due to nerves and trying to shoot as well and as fast as the Masters.

A tip. Go slower, shoot safer and just relax and enjoy it.

Really looking forward to the shoot. First league shoot was last year at CDPC when it rained out.

I am 1 of 11 novices shooting... Only 5 in SSP... Feeling bloody nervous & excited at the same time!

Looking forward to shooting more this year
I think I am one of those 11. Remeber a cap. Forgot mine last year...shooting in the rain without a cap is crap.
