    Default PVT Firearm Sale

    Hi

    Are there any threads explaining the process of licensing a FA bought from a pvt sale? I am a FA owner and will be selling my FA and buying another one, all pvt sale.

    Seller fill in SAP 271 at his part (Current owner.) Buyer at his and go through the licensing application with the SAP271. The seller is signing on that SAP 271 that he is keeping the firearm as in his possesion and control until the new license holder can provide the license in his name and then he can hand the firearm over to the new owner. Thats it.
