Default License cards... HOW LONG CAN THEY TAKE?

I submitted my renewal in July 2016 and it was approved.

I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY CARD!!!!

I have queried this with my local DFO and was given a system printout.

I was given a number to call to find out where it is but all I got was a ringing phone and messages delivered CRICKETS!

I am going to the DFO today, but what are the legal ramifications of being carrying/possessing a pistol with an expired card?

Does the system printout count as confirmation of approval?

    Ask for a reprint.

Up until the con-court pass a ruling RE: renewals your expired license is still valid (as per my DFO input on Friday morning).

That being said, anything longer than month post approval is stretching things.

Join GOSA and get their FDD to send them a stinking letter

My renewal took 367 days from application till the card was in my hand.
I got new licenses quicker than that

I did my renewal in October 2017 approval came in late December 2017. Yes I am still waiting for the card, I went to my DFO Tuesday and he actually told me they are not receiving any new licence cards since late last year.

As I said rumored. Western Cape received cards, so I don't know.
