i don't know if things are speeding up a bit my I submitted my license application on the 15/06/2020 and it went to the licensing section on the 20/08/2020. It's been a total of 104 days ( 74 working) so not bad so far. But we'll see how long the printing takes

Wow, I guess 2 weeks for decisions, if approved + 2 month For printing.

i guess it'll take a month for the printer procurement process to happen so that everyones brother gets a piece of the pie, then a month for someone to get it installed, a month to procure paper and then a month to print:)

This question i think has been asked but will a gun shop release a firearm or allow me to buy ammo once my license has been approved even if I don't have the card?

Nope.

At one point certain DFO's printed a screenshot of approval and some dealers would release firearm. But I believed all have stopped this practice.

GOSA is engaged in a process to have this re-established. If necessary via a Declaratory Order.
