Hi guys.
Just want to find out what would you recommend for a SD firearm?
Thanks

Re: Handgun for SD
Glock 26 / 19, M&P compact / shield, CZ P07 / P10C
can't go wrong with any of those.

Re: Handgun for SD
Glock 43 if you want a small single stack.
Glock 26 if you want a small double stack.
Glock 19 if you want something bigger.

Re: Handgun for SD
Go and feel up and try out a bunch of different guns. What works for me may not work for you.
As to what we'd recommend, see below. From a Glock 26/43/19 to a P07 (I have one), to a Shield, or to a few others.
It would also be dependent on what your requirements are. The environment you need a SD firearm in, and what not.

Do you work in a non-permissive environment.

Re: Handgun for SD
There are many, many threads on this theme and I strongly advise you to read through them. There are a few points in favour of certain brands and a few points in favour of certain pistol sizes. There are good reasons for the pistols mentioned in the previous posts. General guidelines: buy the best you can afford; get a good holster and a better belt; set money aside for a shooting course - preferably once a year or more; set money aside to practice; do not buy on how the pistol feels in your hand; shoot the ones you are considering several times if possible.Listen to the advice on this forum - there are years of experience speaking to you. Buy what you need, and not what you want.
