it boils down to a few other things as well

such as sleeping on duty and lack of awareness

On N24 of this incident. Seems they only stole a Police Vehicle.
And the 2 of the officers were shot execution style.
Nothing so far about firearms taken.
But I would reckon at least the officers that were shot, weapons were taken.
Could have been a hit on these 2 officers.

Yes we do see images of these on the SM but it is still a very serious indicator that criminals are upping the game. ENCA confirmed firearms stolen, this is one case new commissioner better close out super quickly!

On the weekend I drove 1000km to Alldays and back. I saw LEO (traffic and SAPS) on a few occasions standing chatting in the group or engrossed on their mobiles like teenagers.

National Commissioner strongly condemns attack on Ngcobo Police Station

Pretoria : 21 February 2017 - The National Commissioner of the South AfricanPolice Service, General Khehla John Sitole, has strongly condemned the attack onthe Ngcobo Police Station between Umtata and Queenstown in the Eastern Cape.

Disgusting attack by serious demon humans. Unfortunately, it is how crime happens in RSA. If criminals up their game, so should SAPS training? But this is a deepper statement that requires funding, and well, thats a government thing.

Or wandering around Spar looking for food. On a similar note, Black Friday was brilliant, shops were SOO SOO SAFE, because all the local officers were dragging their boots around the shops; Starting to wonder how even the plus size uniforms fit...

cant say officers should up their game when they are not provided training equipment and the mandate from government

there is a documentary that shows how the ruling party has made a commodity out of crime, and therefore there is no real forceful effort to crush it

with the biggest private security industry in the world, with more officers than army and police combined, one has to wonder what the industry's net worth and taxable income to government is (this is something that should be brought up and answered in government)

then we have the videos that everyone finds so funny of the police training using R5 and shotgun, falling over etc, it really isnt funny
