    Default Paracord Cape Town area.

    Need some direction.

    Anyone know who stock paracord in Cape Town area.

    I have found Paracord company online. But in JHB area.

    Just looking for one 30m piece.
    But not sure which shops carry.

    It's also online but there is "getcord" who seem to be worth a look.

    You're in luck, Southern Ropes is based in Cape town.

    Depending on intended use, there are options that are much better than paracord available nowadays, as in thinner, lighter stronger, more abrasion resistant cordages and ropes.

    It depends on application... Dyneema is the new wonder fibre, being about twice as strong as Kevlar and is excellent in bulletproof vests. It is becoming very popular in 4x4 winches. I have some 0.8mm braided dyneema line with a breaking strength of around 80kgs. Truly impressive stuff
