We know this about the last president and the destruction he brought to RSA.
PM BJ Vorster was also corrupt and siphoned money out of RSA by the container load.

( as far as I am concerned there is no my president and your president. We have presidents of RSA )

Just to screw everyones6idea over, I'm a dutchman , today I had the most forthcoming Indian client , one of the most humble perfect people I've ever met , this guy has big money but made a point of me meeting his whole family and took me for a tour of his whole house , then proceeded to feed me some good Johnny walker purely because we came out on a Saturday morning for work , I felt very bad but obliged to have a whisky with him , his saying is work hard and be decent, I reckon that's not too much too ask

Legal, processing and admin fees were roughly $10K. But this was for my type of visa (EB-1a). Costs differ. EB-5 is roughly $575K, which includes investment and admin. Like I said, it is very hard to get in legally.

We're still jus soli "right of the soil" birthright nation. So young pregnant mothers come here to have babies. Their children are immediately recognized as US citizens, the mother get's to stay. Eventually they pull in family members. We call them anchor babies.

So for a couple, some careful planning and timing, a tourist visa, and plane ticket might be all it takes.
