Need an EDC
Hi guys. Need an Edc 9mm. Something i can carry even when driving. Planning on carrying from early morning untill i go to bed at night.
Had an incedent at home and i dont want to be caught with my pants down.
Want to carry aiwb if possible. I am 1.85m and weigh 105kg. Hopefully it wont be too uncomfortable when sitting down/ driving as i do between 3 and 4000km a month.
I need something with a decent round capacity and readily available spares.
I am a fan of a hammer rather than striker but reliability and comfort is my main criteria.
And if anyone has something they would want to get rid off please shout

Lots of choices out there. A CZ P07 in 9mm fits your needs. Carrying a FA will always be uncomfortable to an extent but you get used to it because you have to.

Re: Need an EDC
You can find many, many hours of reading on this subject if you are willing to sift through the numerous previous threads on this forum, with lots of sound advice.
Personally, I'd go either Glock 19 or 26

Re: Need an EDC
I would most definitely suggest Glock 19 or 26 but seeing you like hammer action CZ PO7 will be the way to go

Re: Need an EDC
Hi,
I have a Glock 17 with accesories as well as a Mossberg Maverick M88 pump action shotgun that you can buy.
Gen4 Glock 17 with Gen3 trigger bar(Fitted by Terrick at Bernhard Agencies, original also available), minus disconnector, extended slide release, Warren tactical sights, 4 x 17 round magazines and a Geoff Carter inside waistband holster, spare magazine pouch.
Mossberg Maverick M88 12 Gauge Pump Action Shotgun. Seen very little use.
Regards,
Wesley

Re: Need an EDC
Im also wondering about this.
For EDC I would go hammerles. (Striker)
I found that the hammer could (most probably will) cause a slower draw time as one has to clear a larger area of clothing for the draw stroke.
Even though I practiced drawing almost everyday the hammer sometimes still managed to “grab” my shirt. I wouldn’t want that to happen under stress, as a lot of stuff can happen then.
It could also have been due to lack of proper training..

Re: Need an EDC
I would avoid AIWB until you have proper finger discipline (assuming you dont have training)
Seems like your head is in the right place.
CZ P07 or Glock 19
Pick one and get the ball rolling
