The line of Saiga-12 shotguns is in production since 1993, and forms a headliner product line among “Kalashnikov” shotguns.

These fast-firing, highly reliable guns are best suited for sport, security, home defense, hunting and recreational shooting. All shotguns are manufactured with 76 mm (3”) chambers and can use a wide variety of 70 mm (2 3/4”) or 76 mm (3”) factory loads. Guns use gas operated action with rotary bolt locking, assembled inside a stamped steel receiver. Detachable box magazines ensure fast reloads and simple change of load types in the field. Optional muzzle extensions with chokes urther increase versatility of these shotguns.
Saiga 12K variant 30 is equipped with sidefolding stock with rubber buttpad and AK-style polymer forend. Top cover is provided with Picatinny rail for easy installation of Red Dot sights. Shotgun is fitted with adjustable rifletype iron sights and additional Picatinny rails under the forend. To facilitate faster reloads it has an extended magazine well. For Russian market, it is fitted with automated trigger lock which blocks firing when shoulder stock is folded.
