Colt National Match. Bought for R450.00 in 1983. One could justify a collectors piece as an investment. Damn more fun than shares.

Hello Rick, very long time no see!
The price increase on the Colt is 29 times from 1983 to 2018. In 1982 we bought a Ford XR3 for R10,000; 29 times that that is R290,000. Looking at the price of cars today I would say that the Colt price increase is basically just inflation, not a wealth generating investment!
