AS far as I am aware, the part will require a US export licence, the application for which will be a USD250 flat rate, regardless of whether it's one item or 1,000.

When Boyds stocks were still selling at $99, lots of guys bought them directly and they were shipped through normal postage channels.

Then the prices increased to over $100 and thus ITAR restrictions applied. That goes for all non-regulated gun part orders over $100.

If you find a stock that sells below $100, like some uninletted versions may, mailing it will not be an issue.

I would advise against lying. It could come back to bite you.

    Thanks.

The stock was gotten form Boyds factory and shipped to a dwelling in the US. The stock was returned due to, I presume incorrect paperwork?

Hence my needing to steer the process correctly this time.

The $250 would be problematic indeed.

There is no way to do it, so get her to get refund and try get one locally.
She is not going to be able to apply for and get an ITAR permit, and this has nothing to do with the local ITAC permit either.

A thought. If a visiting hunter brings his guns, with all appropriate paperwork, and brings along a spare stock... ?
