RDS query
I bought a certain brand of these this week, (cost about R3000) got it today and when I took it out, the lenses were full of fingerprints and the front lens was slightly scew, set back at an uneven angle. The mounts also have turn marks on them, it has been loosened and tightened a couple of times already.
Also bought some PMAGS, they came without packaging and had insertion marks on them. Now I'm not one to complain easily but this isn't acceptable, right? I have contacted the dealer, waiting for a reply and this is not a name and shame thing, I just want to know if you guys think I'm being unreasonable or not. If I post photos everyone will know who the dealer is so I'm not posting any.
The sight is obviously a no go but buying something that has been "used" or fitted before isn't right in my opinion. Has this happened to any of you?
BTW, Magpul PMAGS do come in packaging, right? Buying my first AR so I don't know.

The skew lens is normal for some RDS.
My Pmags came in sealed plastic, individually!

I have had one with a scewed lens before but this lens is not scewed at a vertical or horizontal angle.

All the Pmag ive ever bought came in sealed packets, The red dot lens is normal but the screws should be brand new. Thats not cool.

I just read on their website that the front optic should be offset, it is apparently so on all RD sights so that is sorted out, thanks guys! I was just worried that it was offset at an asymmetrical angle and not a right angle but it is apparently done by hand so...

Hi Killzone. No, not a Lynx.
I just got an email from the the store, they'll send a courier to pick up the items for exchange on Monday so issue resolved!
