Re: What RDS for a Cz Scorpion Evo?
Also, what dot size would you suggest?
3 or 6 MOA?

Re: What RDS for a Cz Scorpion Evo?
Fitted a Aimpoint H-2 to my SBR AR-15 recently.
The price was painful, but that pain only lasted till after the first range session.

Re: What RDS for a Cz Scorpion Evo?
For precise shots to an IDPA head target at say 20m, I would prefer the 2MOA, or 3 if that’s all I could get. The bigger the dot the more of the target it will cover.
The 4 and 6 MOA great on handguns, shotguns for close encounters where quick shooting required.
Hope this helps explain the dot size.

Re: What RDS for a Cz Scorpion Evo?
It’s a trade off, the bigger the dot,, the easier it is to see and/or find while the smaller it is, the more precise you can aim.
For your intended purpose with the scorpion, you probably want fast sight Acquisition with reasonable precision out to 75m but headshot accuracy at 30m and in. A 6 MOA dot will cover approx 6” of the target at 100m, at 50m it will cover 3” of the target and at 30m it will still be smaller (~1.5”)than the standard head of any target. The 3 MOA at the headshot range of 30m will cover approx 1” of the head, Now you decide if that will make a big difference to you.
FWIW, I use a 2MOA dot on a 223 Carbine and still shoot clay targets at 200m where the dot completely covers the clay at that distance.
