Oi, where did my ad in the Accessories for Sale section disappear to?
I placed an ad for VZ grips for Cz.
Should I repost it, or will it be brought back from the dead??

On closer inspection, it looks like the site has lost a few days of posts. Looks like the last post was on the 28/04

It is the weirdest feeling to be on the new posts page and then there is nothing

We needed to upgrade, we still do at some point, but besides the few niggles with the looks and feel of it, we had backend issues which were causing other problems.

So, net result, we lost nearly a week of forum activity, but learned a whole lot about what we need to consider when moving from this software version.

Like in the previous thread, can we please get a list of what's not working and how we can make this better, now that we have had something to compare it against.

    Thanks and sorry,
    Craig
The apparent extra space in the new template is easily fixed by changing the CSS and limiting page display width to 1280 or 1024 pixels.

The new listing of posts per thread seemed to be in order of increasing age, instead of decreasing, which hints at a config option somewhere.

Other than that, the new way [ position of links ] of listing new posts and threads is something that the users will get used to, the same way they got used to the old [ now current ] template.

You can't please all the users all the time. Do what you need to do for the site and site maintenance, and the users will adapt.

So, this is what it feels like to wake up from a coma.

Just as I was getting used to the "new" site ...

I was really enjoying some of the new upgraded features in the post editing options.
