Anyone have a semi-auto rifle or shotgun approved lately?

I've noticed a few guys celebrating on the approval of their SLR on FB.

I filed an enquiry after 88 working days. There had been no movement and it had been in consideration from 5 July. Unfortunately, they have 3 weeks to complete the enquiry. I spoke to a Captain at CFR yesterday, who said that they were busy finalizing reference numbers starting with 76..... and were getting 77..... reference numbers ready. Not sure how reliable but it gives me hope.

Follow up on my enquiry:
It has been 3 weeks and no feedback. After 101 painful working days, the CFR call centre agent suggested that I file a complaint. I explained that I was hesitant but he clearly stated that I had followed all of the necessary protocols and this was the final step.

He also said that there was usually an outcome within 5 working days of filing the complaint.

So, I have complained... And fortune favours the.....( I hope)

There have also been several refusals, but you're quite correct. A number of approvals in the last week or two. So, at least there's movement.

And I know why...

So just heard my .223 is preliminary refused, hopefully they change their mind, or be quick with the refusal letter, will be making contact with GOSA today regarding it to see what we should do if it does in fact get refused.

I know of two seperate semi-auto rifles refused in the past week.

Just had my Sec16 SLR approved (9mmP SLR).

This is not my only SLR.

Yes, I had my first MSR, 5.56mm approved under Sec16. Sorry about yours.
