I will probably take my .38 through its paces as well when visiting brother in law, so a regular shooting range should suffice....

Can somebody please give the details of Knights shooting range(address, operating times,the different ranges etc).

Actually we were originally closed as a crime scene because of an incident during an SAPS training session for reservists, one died.

Then, shortly after this, SABS stepped in over Range Specs,... then the development of the 'Africa Theme Park' took our range away completely. We were offered the old Bowling alley in Norkem Park but that prospect also faded away to nothing.

However, as the Theme Park idea has apparently now been canned, (finally), we are going back to Metro soon to renegotiate our old venue back, -on the Bapsfontein road near ERWAT- watch this space. We'll keep you posted.

Here at Southern Arms we have a twenty meter indoor shooting facility where one can either shoot from bays on static line moving targets or a more experienced shooter can use the area in front of the bays on standard static targets on frames. Open in any weather and after hours by arrangement.

I've been to a few shooting ranges, but so far Benoni Indoor makes me feel the most at home... Ammo is reasonably priced and allways friendly service...

Hi Christo, my father in law uses a facility out in "Rooiwal" which should be close by there. If anyone could help with the exact location ? Otherwise I'll try to find out from him!
