I haven't heard of this. Maybe you're referring to breaking slide stops?

Apart from this and the other items DS J mentioned, the trigger spring is worth looking at.

I guess the odd spring changes wont hurt on this FA,keeping in mind she's pushing 20-30 years already, take note she is still @ the dealer so cant confirm date of birth, however was informed that this is the "AK of pistols & not to open up a can of worms"..will stock up on parts later on that's my intention, that's why i joined this site-to get info & be informed of other follower's of in this case the CZ 75,after all the Shadow 1 & 2 are based on this awesome FA

The slide cracks below the ejection port or the frame cracks above the slide stop on the right hand side.

Roughly 80 000 rounds; change springs every 5000 shots.

The CZ75 is heavy. It does carry nicely in leather, i support the option of Ross leather from Jizni. I found that bikini holster without thumbbreak and IWB holsters worked best for me.

I just paid the last installment on my 1978 CZ 75 (prestine condition - old man's gun which never got used) and I am already looking at a few upgrades. I am not a fan of the full spur hammer since I find that I have better control over the rounded hammer like that found on the CZ 75B.

I am planning to buy a DPM recoil spring system (http://www.jizni.co.za/performance-p...tem-cz-75.html)
But I cant decide between these two hammers:
    http://www.jizni.co.za/spare-parts-c...er-cz-75b.html
    http://www.jizni.co.za/spare-parts-s...-shadow-2.html
According to the Jizni site both of these will fit a pre-B model.
