50 Round Practise Questions
Hi All
I am new to shooting and going to the range twice a month. I only buy 100 round 50 for me and 50 for my girl. So I was thinking of doing these drills to het us practise better. Our guns are at an indoor shooting range.
So to the drills:
AIM: Shooting 10 shots as accurate as you can x 1 10 Rounds
Bill Drill: 6 Shots are fired as quickly as the shooter can achieve six hits on the target x 2 12 Rounds
FAST: Shooter loads gun with a total of two rounds. On start signal, shooter draws and fires two rounds at the head target; performs a slidelock reload; and fires four rounds at the body target X 2 12 Rounds
Mozambique: Two shots (a double tap) to the chest followed by one to the head x 2 6 Rounds
AIM: Shooting 10 shots as accurate as you can x 1 10 Rounds
So that do you think?
Will this help?

Re: 50 Round Practise Questions
Hello
Also have a look at this playlist:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...QCXwUuUMuqqyTE
It has some useful information.
Other than that, dry fire will only cost you time but will make a huge difference. Try to get the basics right before you try to get too fancy with the drills, dry fire will also help with this.
If you do not reload, still pick up your cases and save them for later use or sell them, it makes it a bit more affordable.

Re: 50 Round Practise Questions
look at the dot torture , if I only had 50rounds to work with, dot torture would be my choice.

Re: 50 Round Practise Questions
Well every trip to the range may be working on different skill sets, if i only had 50 rounds id run 5 Larry Vickers test drills. Then throw in some of the dot torture every other trip.
Ultimately if you want to get good you have to buy more ammo sadly.

Re: 50 Round Practise Questions
If I could only shoot 50 rounds at a time I would shoot groups.
Start close and move back keeping your groups in a 2 to 3 inch circle. Or change your target size to achieve the same result.
There is no point shooting twice if you can't hit once on demand. There is also no point in shooting fast if you can't hit slowly.Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:
But I know one thing that never dies,
the glory of the great dead.
