Default Concealed carry in a shopping mall.

I have often found myself in a situation where I have my Glock on me, and need to enter a place where firearms are not allowed - like a shopping mall.
I do not have a safe in my car, so storing the pistol in the car is not an option, and as far as I am aware, there is no safe storage provided within the mall either.
    My question is this:
What are the Legal ramifications of entering a mall, or any other area where firearms are prohibited, with a concealed firearm?

Am I correct in assuming that the area is off limits to me - and that's it?
I live in Kwazulu Natal, if that makes any difference..

    Hi Bob

I would suggest using the search function on the forum, this has been discussed in fine detail before.

You will find the answers you seek.

If there are no metal detectors, go where I want to. The worst that they can do is escort you to the door. Apparently, in KZN, any place licensed for liquor is gazetted to be a firearm free zone. But other than that and Gov buildings, I just walk in if they have no detectors

    Thanks for the reply.
Can you please hyperlink the thread where this was discussed?
Perhaps my Searching skills needs improvement, but I cannot find one that answers the question - Can I be arrested, or my license taken away from me if I enter a mall with a concealed firearm?

Short answer, unless properly legally gazetted as a gun-free zone (and I'd be surprised if any malls are) the worst that can happen, should you be made, is to be asked to leave.
Just conceal properly and carry as normal.

As KnifeOfWar said, there are many other threads where you can get all the info you need but personally I've carried to several malls without issues and will continue to do so because the reality is no mall can or will guarantee my safety while I'm on their premises.

That being said, if you conceal properly you shouldn't have any issues unless you're visiting a casino. At a casino you will need to declare your firearm and use their lockup facilities.

It's all just a term of your right of admission. So if they discover you have broken their terms, they can revoke your right of admission and ask you to leave.

Malls no issue, it's their own rules.
Spar, bottle store, favourite restaurant are all an issue in KZN.

Conceal well, don't advertise, don't tell.
    Get a decent IWB holster.

Is KZN our version of California or what? Didn’t know this...
